23 ports in Chile were on strike!

It was reported that on October 26, about 6,500 port alliance members in 23 ports in Chile started a 48-hour joint strike action, paralyzing the main port terminal operations.

According to reports, the ports of San Antonio, Antofagasta, Iquique and San Vicente may be most affected by the shutdown. Some of the affected companies have communicated to customers the paralysis of their business, regretting the impact on the logistics of goods caused by the strike.
