The scope of the strike includes railways, airports, ports, public transportation around the country and highways. The large-scale strike will lead to the paralysis of the German transportation and traffic system. The delay are to be expected for shipments moving to Germany.
Almost all German airports are in a state of paralysis. Munich Airport, the second largest airport in Germany, has already started a strike on the 26th. The airport company said that due to the strike of employees, flight operations for these two days will be suspended, and all 1,500 originally planned flights will be cancelled.
