It is reported that the delivery is the first of four MSC-branded Boeing 777-200F aircraft, manufactured by Boeing and operated by Atlas Air. In the future, Atlas Air will support MSC in terms of Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI).

According to reports, the B777-200F twin-engine aircraft is very popular in the market because of its leading fuel efficiency. MSC also stated that the B777-200F has advantages in operating costs, with a range of 4,880 nautical miles (9,038 kilometers), which is farther than similar aircraft under the same fuel conditions.

On September 26 this year, MSC announced its entry into the air freight market and launched an air cargo solution - MSC Air Cargo.

MSC CEO Soren Toft said at the time: "This is MSC's first step into the air freight market, and we will continue to explore ways to develop our air cargo business to complement our core container shipping business."

In addition to MSC, Maersk, the world's second largest liner company, also said a few days ago that it will accelerate the business development of its air cargo company Maersk Air Cargo.

According to the plan, in the next few weeks, Maersk Air Cargo will significantly expand the air cargo network, including the opening of direct air flights between China and the United States at the end of December this year, connecting the manufacturing and commercial centers in eastern China with the east coast of the United States.
