With the first train departing from Yancheng North Railway Yard in Jiangsu, China, the launch of the "Yancheng Express" signifies the official commencement of the China-Europe (Asia) Block Train service, indicating the full connectivity of the Yancheng to Europe (Asia) international freight railway "artery."

The China-Europe (Asia) Block Train service, represented by the "Yancheng Express," starts its journey from Yancheng North Railway Yard. It continues through Xuzhou towards Central Asia in Europe and through Nantong (Haian) towards Southeast Asia. The inaugural train on this route will transport cargo to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Central Asia from Xuzhou, covering a total distance of approximately 6,500 kilometers. The estimated transit time for the journey is 10 days. The train consists of 15 wagons, carrying items such as tableware, fabrics, and faucets, with a total cargo weight of 366 tons.
